Ky-Mani

Ky-ManiIn his third album that is not yet released almost complete, Ky-mani is certainly a major star in his own right. Ky-mani is a native of Falmouth, Jamaica, to Robert Nesta Marley, a legend, and Jamaican table tennis champion, Anita Belnavis. East African words for Ky-mani refer to a traveler who is adventurous. In the sense of an East African man, his recordings and journeys represent an adventure. The Journey was his first project in music. Through an eclectic approach, he found his voice, roaming the musical spectrum to discover his numerous abilities. Many More Roads, a traditional reggae album that was Grammy-nominated in 2001, proved that Ky-mani was a mature artist. Many More Roads, as well as The Journey are well-received all over the world, and established Ky-Mani's position as an independent "artist". Ky-Mani's music is a blend of reggae roots, layered and hip-hop R&B in addition to contemporary jazz.
