Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington resides in the United States and is a writer from Greece, a syndicated columnist and a businesswoman. She co-founded The Huffington Post, is the founder and CEO of Thrive Global as well an author of fifteen novels. Arianna Huffington has been an actor, journalist, philanthropist and author for more than 10 years. Her role also includes being the founder of The Huffington Post, an free-of-cost online news magazine. Originally from Greece she was able to move to England at the age of 16 and completed her studies at Cambridge University with an MA in Economics. The first graduate from outside the UK to serve as president of The Cambridge Union at the age of 21. As a conservative syndicated blogger, after graduating she went on to become a voice of the Huffington Post. It was possible for her to recruit several prominent contributors who posted their thoughts regarding politics and culture. Arianna became famous after she made the decision in 2003 to stand as an independent Candidate in the California Recall Election in order to succeed the former governor Davis. In addition to this, she led the Detroit Project for fuel-efficient cars. Forbes named her as 12th on its list for the Most Popular Media Women. Guardian also included the HuffingtonPost in their list of the top 100 in the year 2010. AOL Inc. purchased The Huffington Post, and she was named president of the media company. It included a variety of AOL properties at that time, including Engadget AOL style list and Patch Media. Elli Stasinopoulos was a daughter born to Konstantinos an advisor to management and a journalist. She was very close with her father. But it was the relationship she had with her mother who has shaped her. Through her early period, she displayed abilities to lead, and for this she is still well-known. She moved to England at 16 to continue her education and then enrolled in Girton College Cambridge. She joined Cambridge Union, the Cambridge Union college debate society during her time at college in which she became the third female to serve as president. In 1972, she earned a master's degree in Economics. After graduation, she began working as a critic for a newspaper column and as a host on television. She also appeared alongside Bernard Levin in an episode of Face the music and started writing books using his editing assistance.
