Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton escaped the struggles in her early life through her imaginative and creative imagination. Before she was able to write and read, she began to compose her own music. When she was 8, she got her first electric guitar and started singing at the Knoxville Tenn Radio Station. That that same the year that Gold Band Records was a tiny independent record label. While in high school, she established herself in the community, but her ambition was bigger. After she finished her high school, in 1964, she moved to Nashville. Dumb Blonde, Something Fishy and Dumb Blonde both charted on Monument Records in 1967. Porter Wagoner, a syndicated TV show host at the time, was in search for a female singer for his program. Parton began her career in the year 1967 and signed by RCA Records by 1968, and was a part of the Grand Ole Opry. The year 1974 was the first that she opted to walk away from Wagoner's band because the popularity of her individual records such as Joshua Coat, Many Colors, and Jolene had outstripped their collaborative efforts. Parton's song, I Will Never Be Loved by You (for Wagoner), reached the number. #1 spot following their split. The first time it made it to No. 1 was 1974.
