In addition to being a beautiful and intelligent actress, Lucy Liu serves as a role model to many Asian actors working in Hollywood that want to be successful. Her initial success was enhanced through her participation in a few popular show. In those shows, she played the villainous Ling Woo. She translated her unexpected success into big screen roles in films like Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. The film Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an impressive performance in the role of Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii. In the same time frame she was the main character in some failures in the field such as Rise: Blood Hunter. She then began to voice characters from animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's part in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen movie, did not produce positive results.
